The sprain occurs when we tear the deltoid ligament on the inside or our ankle. These sprains are more rare for 2 reasons;
- The bone on the outside of your shin prevents the ankle from moving too far.
- The ligaments on the inside of the ankle are stronger than the ligaments on the outside of the ankle.
Treatment
- Rice/Police
- Massage/Frictions to deltoid ligaments
